They don't know nothing about the magician about to perform or what trick they are about to act. They sit in the audience watching every move that is made and if any are able to fool the professionals they are rewarded with a five star trip to Las Vegas to perform as the opening act in Penn & Teller's world famous show at the Rio Hotel & Casino.
